New York Academy employs a 21st Century Technology program, including one-to-one learning with iPads for students Kindergarten through Grade 2, and MacBook Pros for grades 3-6 students. We have Smart/Apple TV’s in every classroom and Grades 3 to 6 have the most current model of Smart Board. Additionally, we are preparing to employ iTunes University and Apple Classroom, as well as Google Education (i.e., Google Docs and Google Drive). We are making effective use of a variety of learning apps and communication apps because we see 21st Century technology as a tool for research, communication, networking, and production/innovation, as well as an integral part of our students’ lives.
